Nerdy fun fact: this is based on the 2nd pilot done for the original Star Trek series, "Where No Man Has Gone Before". Spock wore a gold uniform in that episode instead of his more iconic blue. He also had some really out-of-control eyebrows in those early, early days, too (even for him!).
